APRIL 25, 2008 - On Thursday, April 17, when I was interviewed on Michael Yorba's "Commodity Classics" program on YORBA.TV, I talked about the April 24 opposition of Mars and Jupiter, and mentioned a specific price target for the S&P 500 on that date. Based on this planetary configuration, I had calculated that a price level of 1371.69 would be a sensitive point for the S&P on April 24, and rounded up that number to talk during the interview about an April 24 price target of 1372 for the S&P. As I noted during that April 17 interview (click HERE to watch a replay now), I was looking for the S&P to hit either resistance (a daily price high) or support (a low for the day) at 1372, noting that a closing price on April 24 at that price would also confirm the power of the Mars/Jupiter opposition. During yesterday's trading, the S&P 500 hit an intraday low of 1371.09 and then tested support in the 1371-1372 range a couple more times, all within an hour of the exact time that the Mars/Jupiter opposition occurred. This "correct astrological low" for the S&P was a short-term bullish indicator, and the S&P rallied significantly during the remainder of yesterday's trading session. While it's important to understand this indicator as trend indicator that can help you decide on the right position to be in when it comes to trading, what's really significant here is that astrology provides what no other market analysis tool does-- a knowledge of precise price points IN ADVANCE by knowing ahead of time exactly when price and time will meet.
